Aged or Disability Carer & Personal Care Assistants – Work in Australia

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Australian partner for qualified Aged or Disability Carer & Personal Care Assistants who are seeking long-term employment opportunities in Australia. Successful applicants will receive assistance throughout the visa application process.
Position purpose
- Aged or Disability Carer & Personal Care Assistants
- Location: Australia
- Visa Sponsorship: Work Visa (subclass 482) with potential for extension, subject to
age eligibility (under 45 years of age at time of extension). - Permanent Visa eligible after 2 full years of paid employment.
Position Description:
Personal Care Assistant
- Assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing
and eating - Assisting patients with their mobility and communication needs
- Participating in planning the care of individuals
- Observing and reporting changes in patients' condition, and reporting complaints about care
Aged and Disabled Carer
- Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities
- Assisting clients with their mobility
- Preparing food for clients
- Arranging social activities
- Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
- Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing
- Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
- May do shopping and run errands
- May live in with the person
Minimum Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Nursing or as a Personal Care Assistant
- A minimum of two years of paid experience (full-time or part-time equivalent) in a relevant role
- English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or the ability to attain this score
- Willingness to undergo a Skills Assessment with an approved Australian authority (if required)
